Ham Pot Pie Made in an Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup onion diced
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • 1 ¼ cups chicken broth
  • pepper dash
  • ¼  teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 ¾ cup ham fully cooked and cubed
  • 14.5 ounces mixed vegetables drained
  • 1 tube crescent rolls

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.
  • Melt butter over medium heat in a large skillet adding the onions once the butter is fully melted.

  • Sauté until a beautiful golden brown.
  • Stir in flour using a whisk and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the mixture is smooth and blended.

  • Whisk in the chicken broth and milk alternating between the two.

  • Whisk until you are left with a nice creamy sauce. Stir in the garlic powder, thyme, and a dash of pepper.

  • Gently stir in the cubed ham and vegetables.

  • Fill greased 10 ounce ramekins with the hot ham mixture.
  • Open crescent roll tube and separate into 4 portion of two triangles each. Pinch together the seam and place 1 portion on top of each ramekin. Brush with an egg wash if desired.

  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 400 degrees until golden brown. Remove and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
